The sunset at nearby Fern Ridge can be stunning, especially in fire season. Here, the Orchard Cove Richardson Marina sailboat spars are silhouetted against the red fire in the west and reflected on the lake. This is a little jewel—only 5 x 7 in a beautiful hand-made Roma frame. It is a photograph printed on vellum, which is then gilded with 24 K patent gold.
